CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- How do you get the Cubs and White Sox to work together?  When they want to help solve problems in Chicago.

The Chicago Sports Alliance kicked off its second year with a lunch and discussion at the MB Ice Arena on the West Side.

Chicago Bulls and White Sox Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, Bulls President Michael Reinsdorf, Cubs Chairman Tom Ricketts, Bears Chairman George McCaskey, and Blackhawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz teamed up last year to donate a million dollars to organizations that work to stop the epidemic of violence in Chicago.

The teams picked organizations that used advanced data analytics to find out where to target their efforts.
