Anna Agarwal is the Associate Director, Urban Innovation at the Energy & Environment Lab and a Senior Fellow at EPIC-India. She leads the Urban Labs Innovation Challenge: Delhi, a joint initiative of Urban Energy and Environment Lab, EPIC-India, and the Delhi government. Previously, she worked at The Brattle Group, where her work focused on regulatory policy and ratemaking matters in the U.S. electric power industry. Agarwal has also worked at the Government of India’s Energy and Power Division in the Planning Commission. 

She has a PhD from MIT, and has held research appointments at the MIT Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research, and the MIT Energy Initiative. She also holds a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi.
