Mariah Farbo is an embedded analyst at the Chicago Police Department for Crime Lab.

Mariah graduated with a masters in public policy, data analytics from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She's originally from Lancaster, PA, but she went to undergrad in Massachusetts, completed a year of Americorps with a non-profit fair trade company in New York City, and worked at a running store in Chicago for a year. She hopes to make an impact at Crime Labs by taking data and presenting it in a way that everyone can understand through visuals, maps and conversations.
