Max Lubell is a Project Associate in the Crime and Education Labs.

Max is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Urban Studies. Originally from Los Angeles, Max spent much of his time in Michigan working in the city of Detroit. Specifically, he managed volunteer programs in metro-Detroit high schools, worked as a tax foreclosure counselor at a local housing advocacy non-profit, and wrote an undergraduate Sociology thesis on gentrification in Detroit’s Midtown and Downtown neighborhoods.
