Megan Porter is responsible for managing a number of projects, including the evaluation of a school-based sports program for low-income students, and a potential evaluation of a new City-funded program that will provide permanent supportive housing to homeless families in six South and West Side schools. 

Megan’s other research interests include the role of city and community leadership and public policy in the decline and redevelopment of Rust Belt manufacturing cities, which was the focus of her BA thesis. She holds a BA in public policy from the University of Chicago.
