Shana Sanchez is a new Research Assistant in the Education Lab and will be working closely on initatives that focus on young women.

Shana graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and minors in Children’s Studies and Drama. Post graduation she worked at the Washington University in St. Louis Medical School in Psychiatry Research. There her focus was on early childhood depression and anxiety. She now attends University of Chicago’s School of Social Administration in pursuit of a MSW. She hopes to work with children and families in some capacity, focusing on early intervention and mental health.
