Crime Lab Crime & Criminal Justice in Chicago: Challenges for the New Mayor

On March 19, 2019, the City Club of Chicago invited Jens Ludwig, McCormick Foundation Professor and Director of the UChicago Crime Lab to speak about violence in Chicago in 2018. Ludwig’s talk, entitled “Crime & Criminal Justice in Chicago: Challenges for the new mayor,” discussed the challenges the new mayor will face. The audience for this event included policymakers and members of the Chicago civic, philanthropic, and business communities.

The City Club of Chicago is a non-profit, non-partisan organization whose members include prominent business, civic and government leaders in Chicago.
